This project was conducted as part of the Master’s Degree course History of Architecture at Politecnico di Milano in 2022.
The documentary follows an interview we have conducted with Architect Guido Pietropoli, a close apprentice and former student of Carlo Scarpa.
The main theme of reflection, both in the physical and metaphysical sense, has been studied in four major parts that we believe reflect Scarpa’s work the best:
Introduction: Venice, Chapter 1: Water, Chapter 2: Material, and, Chapter 3: Nature and Poetics.
